While our trip to Spain had its challenges, the staff at this hotel provided a safe haven for some of the troubles we faced during our visit. We had a room on the end and it had lots of room for a european hotel. We stayed in 515 on the 1st few nights and 608 after we returned from Barcelona.... more

As we intended to travel around Spain by train we chose this hotel as it was just a short walk from the main Atocha Stn. It was a safe area to walk in with no drunks or druggies hanging around. Our room was medium size, comfortable, extremely clean and faced the side street so was quiet. All the staff were... more

The hotel is very centrally situated near 2 metro stops. The hotel rooms are large, but feels dingy and in need of an upgrade. Reading the other reviews i wonder if i went to the same hotel - we found the staff extremely unfriendly and unhelpful The older man on duty during the daytime was downright surly, acting as though... more

The hotel being located next to the main train station (Atocha) I expected worse. In fact this hotel is wonderful if you’re in for sightseeing Madrid. Two subway stations on different lines are close, but to be honest we have not used those much, except when coming from the airport and one time when we went for a corrida in... more

Great location (walking distance from Atocha trains station, 10min walk from Prada, good restaurants, parks), very friendly, helpful, English speaking staff, clean modern rooms. We loved everything about this hotel. more

It is close to many of the attractions in Madrid. It is a safe neighborhood with small shops and grocery stores and pharmacies if you need it. The rooms were very comfortable and really nicely decorated. We loved the breakfast, and the staff was most helpful at all times. My only complaint was that the internet is a bit expensive... more

Great location (a long block from Atocha Station, gateway to Cordoba and Seville), friendly staff, gorgeous modern rooms. My wife and I had never been to Madrid before and this was our first stop. We picked it because of its proximity to Atocha Station. Hotel was extremely clean, quiet, and the staff were very helpful. (Shower was rather complicated to... more

I stayed their 4 nights recently and enjoyed my stay there. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very luxurious. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I had a room over the main street and it was very noisy. There was no way you could leave the window open and sleep peacefully. As a result it... more

This was my least favorite hotel during my trip to Spain. The hotel is outdated, smells too much like cheap soap, and the rooms are dingy. It is also very very noisy. They charge you for wifi, charge you at the business center, charge you for using the lock box in your room... ridiculous. The only plus at this hotel... more

I stay 2 nights during Madrid tour. This hotel is small and room is small, too, BUT, employees are kind, location is very good near from atocha metro and rail station. Moreover, breakfirst is diverse and delicious. Specially, room has a pot which you can get hot water with. If I could visit madrid again, I will stay this hotel... more
