It is close to many of the attractions in Madrid. It is a safe neighborhood with small shops and grocery stores and pharmacies if you need it. This was my least favorite hotel during my trip to Spain. The hotel is outdated, smells too much like cheap soap, and the rooms are dingy. It is also very very noisy. I stay 2 nights during Madrid tour. This hotel is small and room is small, too, BUT, employees are kind, location is very good near from atocha metro and rail station.
