Spent three nights at this Hotel in late Jan '05. The Suecia is in a good location with a fairly good restaurant.. Our room on the 9th floor although , of good size, & clean was badly in need of a refurbishing. Suecia hotel is very centrally located. Only minutes away from the museums, Gran Via. Plaza Major & Puerta del Sol are only about a 15 minute walk. Staff here was friendly; hotel was above average. Its claim to fame is that Hemingway stayed here. more

Good central location for walking almost anywhere to see sites. The room was adequate and clean. We didn't spend much time in our room, so it was fine. more
