Just an average hotel with a nice lobby. The rooms are just ok, nothing special. Breakfast staff not very friendly and either is the front desk staff. Breakfast is good. just back from weekend in madrid stayed at the gran atlanta hotel. Hotel is undergoing renovation due to be finished in november2008, overall nice hotel in excellent location close to three metro stations and real madid football ground ,plenty of bars n restaurants nearby would have no hesitation in going back to this hotel more

Generally a nice hotel. Not far from Barajas airport so convenient for anyone with an early flight. The walls between the rooms are not at all sound-proof so it's easy to hear the tv or people talking in next room which is annoying. Expensive for the level of comfort and definately not 4 star.
