- Hotel Praga Madrid

We stayed at hotel Praga when we visited Madrid this January, 2012. I wasn't expecting much from the hotel from the reviews I had read on various review sites. But I was pleasantly surprised the hotel was real value for money. The best part about the hotel was the connectivity to the city. We got down at the metro station...

Had stayed for 3 days. Located on the main street, next to a super market, it is convenient if you are in the city for work or business. For a tourist like me, the train station was a little further than i expected, and it took time to reach the main attractions of the city. The rooms were not very...

This hotel is very good for the price. We found it clean and the bathroom was fine.On the second night of a 3 day stay we found lots of teenagers staying in the rooms next to us being a little noisy, just talking and the doors banging until 2am.We asked to move the next morning and this was done with no...

Good budget hotel
There is a No. 23 bus which stops right outside the Praga, which takes you into town for a very small price, and there is a taxi rank outside the hotel. Rooms very clean. Many small eating houses nearby. Staff very efficient, and most spoke english. Good price. Close to newly completed river walk area.
The new...

The hotel is in good condition and our room was very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was also modern and clean. The neighborhood is full of locals, not tourist, which is nice, but also means it's a bit out of the way. It's a 10-15 minute walk to the metro and another 10 minute ride to Opera/Sol. There is a...

I stayed here in September as part of a Cosmos tour in a triple share room. The room was fine with 3 single beds and a nice enough bathroom. Breakfast was average. No free wi fi offered by the hotel, and the lobby was always full of large tour groups. The location was not impressive, being in a residential area...

The hotel is locarlted near the river that runs through madrid. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is quite good and the area around the hotel seems good too. I would recommend not to get to this hotel if you have a car cause the street parking seemed to be a little tedious. Outside the hitel there is a bus...

Good stuff - Bus outside front door takes you to Plaza Mayor for 1.50 EURO. Beds are really comfortable. Rooms are decent. Beautiful park nearby for jogging. Plenty of markets and restaurants on Calle Antonio Lopez.
Bad Stuff - Metro station is a very long walk from the hotel. With the exception of one person, the STAFF at this hotel...

We stayed at the Praga on two separate occasions in November. The rooms were clean and comfortable. They charge 4 Euro for 24 hours of Internet, which was fine considering it had a good signal and high speed. There is a bus right outside the front door that will take you to the Plaza Major - the center of downtown....
