Stayed in this hotel the night before catching an ongoing flight. Like a previous reviewer said, the rooms are more or less what you would expect, but we found it hard to sleep because the room was so hot and the air conditioning was not very useful !! The reception staff were not helpful upon arrival and the restaurant was... more

We stayed at the Sofitel the night before we had to fly out. The hotel is close to the airport and has a free airport shuttle. The rooms are modest - along with the price. Beds are comfortable and the bath rather large but the air in the room was rather stuffy and no way to open the window. The... more

This is an undistinguished four-star hotel offering reasonably comfortable accommodation but not much else. Although the rooms have all the attributes you would expect for this standard of hotel (comfortable bed, armchair, desk, flat-screen TV, shower screen and decent toiletries) they are also disappointingly small, and a couple booking into a “superior” twin/double for a week or more will struggle... more

This Sofitel is a decent spot for airport proximity, but offers little else. The rooms are small, quiet and comfortable, with good beds and up-to-date fixtures. Not much to offer on the TV in English, but this is true everywhere in Spain. The hotel restaurant is not a great dinner option, and there are only a couple of places within... more

I wanted to give an up to date review as i have seen nothing on here for 2008. I have stayed in a Sofitel Hotel before and it doesn't disappoint. The beds are by far the best! So comfy i didn't want to leave! The TV has a decent choice of channels. Room service is great. Hotel service was good... more

On the way to Marrakech we had a one night stop in Madrid and stayed at this hotel because of their good rate of $150/ night! Positives: 1. The subway stop (pink line) is a one minute walk. 2. There is a free airport shuttle. 3. The breakfast is kick ass but 26 Euros per person Negatives: 1. Even the... more

Large rooms, fine amenities, pay for wi-fi unlike city hotels but very much like USA hotels. Free drink with membership is only for wine or beer with cocktails more expensive than I have seen anywhere in the world, including the Waldorf=Astoria...plus, the bartender does not know how to make a martini. Dinner at the connecting Novotel was one of the... more

We were stayed in Madrid Campo de las Naciones Hotel for a week. In general the hotel is o.k, it has some positive and negative things. Positive: The bed is very confortable, there is a pillow menu! and the tv is great. The breakfast has many things to choose. The pool area and the kindness of the lifeguard that was... more

Try and stay on the 4th floor - one of the executive floors. Luxurious comfortable beds, with a pillow menu, great shower, shame there was no bath however. Good location to the Fiere de Madrid and metro. All in all a very good Sofitel experience. more

Just left there yesterday--6/20/07. As stated by ther reviews, it is a very nice hotel, the beds are awesome. If you have stayed in a Sofitel in a country that has customer service standards though, this one will sirely disappont. Checking in we were the only ones there, 3 men behind the counter and we were treated as though we... more
