We only spent one night there, but it was enough to make an impression. I liked the fact that at the reception there was a girl, who spoke good Romanian, although I didn't fancy her attitude very much. Hotel quite central for Grand Via and Tribunal Metro, but reached via a scruffy street with lots of graffitti, which gave a very bad first impression of this area. The room was basic but clean and the staff pleasant but the biggest problem was noise. We had an inside room to avoid the excessive noise from outside but the walls... more
We spent 4 nights, which was prepaid or we would have left. Chipping paint, broken shower, lukewarm water, noisy weak air conditioning, closed cafeteria, broken elevator, etc. Lots of deferred maintenance. Outside, covered with graffiti, located in a heavy party area. Adequate at best, staying here will dampen your trip to Madrid. more
We (parents and 2 children aged 9&11) stayed here for 4 nights in two separate apartments with a shared front door. So 2 separate bedrooms, two bathrooms and 2 kitchenettes - for 147 Euros per night total. Great location 1 minute from Tribunal Metro station - 1 side of the hotel adjoins a fairly main road, but was double glazed.... more
