This is a small quiet hotel, which is perfectly situated close to Plaza Mayor without the expense. As others have said, this is in a convenient location. The room was terrible. The window which didn't close all the way or lock at all, overlooked the back of a restaurant, so my room smelled of old cooking grease. I organised the accommodation for my friends which is always a scare incase its bad but we were mildly impressed. Excellent location, in the heart of old Madrid. Perfect for someone who will spend all day outside and come back tired to sleep.
