Small hotel, small room which was fine, rooms are very cheery. Staff was very helpful; I couldn't get the WIFI to work so the office loaned me a cable. Perfect location--we walked EVERYWHERE. The hotel is rather noisy, I think because of the hardwood floors throughout so bring your earplugs. more

My husband and I stayed at the Hostal Adriano twice during the Christmas holiday week and had a very positive experience. The rooms are small to medium size, spotlessly clean, with down comforters, small refrigerator and flat-screen TV. Bathrooms were small but well equipped with hair dryer and magnified mirror. The staff is friendly and very helpful. There is a... more

Just got back from a three day stay at Madrid. We stayed at Adriano for three nights and could not ask for a better location. The hostal is located in a busy street with lots of tapa bars and lots of places to eat. While it was a busy street we where not bothered by the noise as the balcony... more

The best thing about this hotel is the location, a few blocks south of the Puerta del Sol, so you can easily walk to the Palacio Real on the west side and the Prado on the east side and everything in between. However, since it is up hill going back from the Prado to Sol, you might want to buy... more

We had a hard time finding an affordable place to stay in Madrid and were happy to find this place had room. The location is perfect, right in the midst of everything with tons of good bars & restaurants literally right outside your door. We asked for a room in the back and had no problems with noise. The rooms... more

After reading the reviews on TripAdvisor, I was excited about staying at Adriano, but was worried about staying at a Hostal for the first time. My husband and I traveled with my parents (in their 60s) and frankly didn't know what to expect despite the positive feedback. On our way from the airport, the cab driver said Adriano was in... more

Last year we stayed at Hostal Adriano and found it perfect to my expectations, so this year I travelled with more family members, and chose this lovely Hostal again. All of us were very pleased with the unbeatable location, friendly staff and spotlessly clean rooms and common areas. My teenage son and nephew were also happy updating their Facebook pages... more

We really enjoyed our stay. The quaint hotel is small but recently renovated, clean and fresh. Room was small but great value for the price. The AC worked great (thank goodness because it was over 40 degrees (c) each day. Really was thankful that they have a new high speed laptop available in the front for guest use. Great location... more

I have no problem with minimalist hotels like Hostal Adriano. I know not to expect much luxury or frivolity. However, I do expect to at least receive fresh towels during the day. My room was not cleaned during the two days I stayed there, even though I was out of the room from 10:00am - 3:00pm and 4:00 - 7:00pm.... more

This guest left without paying for the room. While she was with us, for just two nights, she misscommunicated with our staff, who did not understand whether she would remain in the room or not in order to do the cleaning. She never came to the reception to clarify or to request the cleaning or clean towles, as any other...
