I spent one night at this nice hotel, just in front of Atocha's station, my room was a little bit small, but nice and very clean, I was alone, so I didn't need more space. The shower was nice, towel and bed linen spotless. There's a lot of cafes and restaurants close, Museo del Prado and Parque del Retiro are... more

This hotel is called hotel midday in english because that is the time you get to sleep! At night time, the students are moving the furniture around constantly and having parties and putting loud music on and shouting in the hallways! Students are staying here while they are in Madrid because it is reasonably priced! I have to say though... more

Hotel is located close to a main train station and only a 100yds from a metro station. their is plent of eating and drinking places close by. a couple of tapas bars next door and Mcdonalds and KFC nearby. the hotel is basic but clean and... more

Trip Advisor member Ireland Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and was impressed with the friendly reception staff . The rooms were clean especially the bathroom. beds were comfortable and bed linen changed everyday. Our room was to the front overlooking the plaza and therefore slighty affected by traffic noise, but ear plugs and extra alcohol sorted this and... more

Stayed here as part of a uni trip for just under a week. I came with very low expectations the hotel itself was great. The rooms were large and clean (which is a big difference from the hotel we stayed in london). It was a quick trip from the airport and was on a metro line so we could go... more

I went on a tour with efcollegebreak and they booked us here. The hotel was great. The location was very good, you can see the modern art museum from your room, which is worth checking out. They have some great restaraunts around, which I reccomend Pinnochios. The staff was extremely friendly, they would always speak to me and help give... more

Two other women and I stayed at the hotel in early February and had a wonderful time in Madrid - in part because this hotel was such a convenient bargain - we paid 78 Euro for a single and 83 Euro for a double - very nice, recently renovated rooms with new ceramic bathrooms - we were one first and... more

I booked this hotel only because it was across from the train station. I can only justify the price I paid (USED $140/night) because I wanted to be across the train station. The hotel room is what is like a boarding room/hideout from a scene in a movie -- old wood floors, old wood furniture, old wood door (with skeleton-like... more

We found ouselves stuck in Madrid on New Year's Day as we had not booked train tickets to Barcelona in advance. As the next train we could get on left at 6.30 am we decided to stay as close to the station as we could - hence this hotel which is just across the road. It looks from the outside... more
