2nd part of our trip to spain Oct 13 - 17 Room 402 This hotel is all about the LOCATION. Its 1 block from Gran Via Metro station. And its central to ALL things you can do in Madrid. ROOM: It was for sure a 3 star hotel with a modern twist. It was comfy but nothing fancy. It is... more

I stumbled across this place while wandering around Madrid one day. Stayed in another place nearby but had to get out due to noise and lack of a/c. PP Ducal pretty much saved my life. Only here for a night but really enjoy it. The big double room also has a balcony with great views across the skyline of central... more

We stayed here for 4 nights. We were given room 201 which was at the back of the hotel so we were not disturbed by noise from the road The room was adequate, the towels and bed linen were changed every day and the staff at reception were always helpful and friendly. The hotel location was excellent for everything and... more

The hotel was in a good location from everything. I loved the free internet we had & the room was very comfortable, plus the 3 other members I stayed with-we all had our own beds. The customer service was good too. We had a good view, but it was noisy, but that was no problem to me. more

i just came back from this hotel and the location is perfect, just a few meters away from the GRAN VIA metro station and also at Chueca area. The WIFI is included in the price and was always working when I was there. Just be carefull as some of the rooms only have windows to an inside yard, so no... more

The location is good. It is off La GRan Via. Just a block away from the Gran Via Metro Station and just 10 minute walk from the Preciado Avenue. The hotel is very simple. Rooms try to be very modern but lack taste. Really did not like it and would not choose it again. Internet is free, they even provide... more

The location was excellent. The service was not so good because I should ask for cleaning service, the receptionists (some of them) didn't speak English and none was checking the mini bar for refill. The breakfast was good although they were not putting fresh cakes for several days. If you stay there do not get a room in the front... more

We were looking for a central, clean central and cheap hotel in Madrid and this chained fitted the bill. It is built into an old town-house and has plenty of bars around it for breakfast. You can't go wrong if you are just looking for somewhere to crash. Only thing I'd say against it is the pillows, not enough. But... more

A colleague and I stayed at this hotel because of its central location and because it guaranteed wi-fi access throughout the hotel. The first room they gave us was dark, small, smelly, dusty, with broken furniture, and with NO connection. When we complained, the front desk people told us it was probably BOTH of our laptops that had the problem,... more

The Petit Palace Ducal is located just off one of Madrid's main roads, the Gran Via, so is a great base from which you can see the rest of the city. . I stayed in a room for 4 which was actually nicely decorated (most rooms made for 4, I have found, tend to be quite hostelly-looking in my experience).... more
