This was a fabulous little hotel. The location couldn't be bettered - in a quiet square only 5 mins walk to Plaza Major. Rooms are colourful, spotlessly clean, quiet and well equipped. It isn't luxurious but for the price I can't fault at all. more

Hostal Cruz Sol was perfectly fine for our purposes. The bathroom was very small but the hostal is conveniently located near Plaza Mayor, and we had no problem getting in and out. (The elevator is ridiculously small, FYI.) The staff spoke nearly no English, but our mediocre Spanish was enough to get by. more

Thanks to previos reviewers booked this Hostal for a four day break in Madrid. From check-in to check-out could not fault it.
