We loved our stay at Casa de Madrid. It's intimate, welcoming, stylish and felt like we were living somewhere foreign and exotic. Small touches like candles, incense, fabulous mattress and luxurious linens made our room both personal and comfortable. The light breakfast served in the small lobby/parlor was perfect each day, with fresh squeezed juice, coffee and croissants. The location... more

We landed up in Casa De Madrid as our first stop on our honeymoon in Spain, and we were absolutely delighted. Just being in the hotel put across such a beautiful sense of calm in us. It has been done up tastefully and felt more like a beautiful home that we were welcomed to stay in rather than a hotel.... more

It is not an hotel, it is a wonderful big apartment few steps from Royal Palace as well just meters from the centre of the center. Being more a home , they will all make their best to share their privileged roomy feeling with you , there are only seven rooms each individually decorated personally from the owner that is... more

Quite simply one of the most delightful places we have stayed in; as far from a conventional hotel as one could wish. We were in the Damascus suite, a splendid set of rooms including a large and comfortable sitting room with two balconies overlooking the Opera House - the perfect place to relax before and after forays into the city.... more

Have used tripadvisor to check world hotels but never written opinion but this hotel or whatever is was one of those places that you must stay if you are tired of the 5-6 star hotels. we loved the challenge right from the start of having to find it to being able to fit in the lift with 6weeks of luggage,... more

A very private base from which to explore Madrid. It is a romantic place to stay if you don't like hotels. I imagine it is a similar feeling to staying in a town house that belongs to a wealthy old very distant relative. The bedding is worth a mention... superb Is it worth price ... yes for 1 or 2... more

It was certainly a unique experience for us, unlike any hotel or B&B we have stayed in, I'm not sure if we saw more than one other guest in three days. It was like staying in an appartment with maid service, certainly designed to be exclusive. You can imagine the whole floor was once occupied by a wealthy Madrid family... more

We had just as hard of a time finding the place as everyone else seems to have. Okay, what we like about the Casa de Madrid first! It has a really central location. It seemed like everything we wanted was close. We stayed in the Quarto Indio. It was funky but perfectly servicable. Our room was very clean and the... more

When we saw the pictures of Casa de Madrid, we knew it was exactly what we were looking for - somewhere stylish with all the benefits of a hotel, yet the individual attention of a qaulity b&b. It was a little more than we had planned to spend for our 4 night stay, but the photos and reviews convinced us... more

As other travelers have noted, this hotel is difficult to locate. In our case, painters working on the entrance made it even harder, as they assured us there was no hotel at the address. After a phone call, we finally located it on the third floor. We had to drag our bags up the dark, unlit staircase, as the funky... more
