Imagine your first time in Madrid, you take the Metro from the Airport to Plaza de Espana, walk half a block and you are at your hotel. It is 8:30 AM you have flown all night, check in us at 2pm. What do you do? " Hi is our room ready? " You're are greeted warmly and the surprising answer... more

Just returned from a 3 night stay at the Suites 33 in Madrid and can honestly say I will use this hotel again on my return. Great sized rooms and bathrooms, very clean, comfortable, modern. Unsure why there is a kitchenette with no crockery, cuttlery or kettle and would say that this is my only complaint about the place, no... more

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and were very pleased with our stay. The rate was extremely good (average 90 euros a night inclusive of all taxes) considering the location and large room space. Yes, it is on a small street that had some construction going on but we were extremely surprised that with all the construction going... more

I would not recommend this hotel. While it is close to Plaza de Espana and you are within walking distance to the main parts of the city, it is situated in a seedy looking alley with a strip club nearby. The only non-smoking rooms are the first and second floors, so our room was right on the street. The beds... more

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and couldn't fault the location, about a 1minute walk away from a metro station which gave you access to the whole of madrid (worth buying a 10trip ticket by the way, much better value for money). The hotel is tucked away so keep your eyes peeled for it, the hotel staff were... more

The "king" bed was really two twin beds joined together. It was supremely uncomfortable and instead of pillows had only two long bolster like objects and two decorative cushions. The reading lamps were weak and too low making it impossible to read in bed. The bathroom walls were covered in what appeared to be residue from cement or tile grout... more

We stayed in this hotel for three nights. Overall it was a great hotel. The location is very convienent; you are about a two minute walk away from a metro stop, there are convienence stores nearby, and you are very close to Gran Via, a major street with shopping restaurants, etc. The room was large and well, of spartanly, furnished.... more

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel with one friend of mine. It was something like flat, first room with bed and kitchen and second with sofa and TV. A lot of space, very clean, good hair-dryer, nice and big bathroom. they clean our room each day, service at reception was really good and friendly. Location is just prefect !... more

I stayed in this very smart hotel for 4 nights in June. Reception staff were very helpful and all spoke excellent english. Hotel location is great - running next to the Gran Via. Street is a little seedy - but police station two doors down helps. Didnt feel unsafe at any stage. Rooms are large and very modern. Great base... more

We booked this hotel via online venues and found incredible prices much lower than the average annual price, despite our trip being in July (this was a common theme, likely due to the recession). Upsides: Front desk was great. We needed to modify a reservation with another hotel, however the other hotel didn't have a receptionist who spoke English. The... more
