We read about the Huertanica in a well known guide book.
The hotel looked like it had been renovated about five years ago, then left to deteriorate. There were two lights in our room not working, and one in the hallway outside the room that was not working, and had burn marks around the fitting. Also, the hotel was so noisy at night that we found it difficult to sleep.
The main thing that annoyed us about the hotel was that we booked it on the condition that it had air conditioning. When we arrived the air conditioning was not working. The receptionist came to have a look, confirmed it was not working, and expressed his disappointment. He said he would talk to the manager and see what he could do. When we saw him later in the night he said there was nothing they could do as it was too late to have an engineer come to look at the problem.
