This is an extremely nice hotel, with pleasant and helpful staff. I stayed for a week and found very little to grumble about - and I am picky! The rooms are lovely all with sea views and small balconies. All were clean and well organised with complimentary dressing gowns and slippers. 24 hour room service and breakfast in your room... more

We stayed at Sidi San Juan for a week in late July. It was a perfect hotel experience!!! The San Juan beach is the best I have experienced in Spain and the views from the hotel are fantastic. Lying on their lovely sun deck reading a book and sipping a coke while overlooking the San Juan bay is unbeatable. We... more

It isn't really a 5 star hotel from the perspective of rooms, furnishings, public areas and breakfast. It is fine though and comfortable enough. 4 star it would be. The gardens are very good for relaxing and there are plenty of sunbeds. The beach is clean and a walk of about 15mins brings you to the promenade where there are... more

Have just returned from a short break at this Hotel 4th July - 7th July . I have stayed in many 5 star Hotels and this is definitely not a five star. The bedrooms are very dated with curtains not matching bedding. The bathroom was well equipped. The balcony was very small. In the evenings there is no entertainment apart... more

This hotel is in a fabulous location right on the lovely beach, and is about four and a half stars. Service and cleanliness was excellent, but it was let down by its ridiculously small outdoor pool, and some niggly extra charges that you would expect to come as standard in what is claimed to be a five star hotel. The... more

This is not a 5 star hotel by UK standards, but more a 3 plus. We arrived via the waterfalls and palm trees of the hotel entrance of this large 1960’s style concrete building. After unloading our own luggage from the car, we proceeded to check-in. Here we received beach towel cards, after signing a 15 Euro per person refundable... more

I stayed at this hotel with three friends on a golfing trip. When I first e mailed an enquiry, the hotel responded within hours with a very favourable quote, they pre booked tee times and on arrival we were welcomed by a guest relations person who couldn't have been more helpful over the four days. The rooms are average to... more

This hotel is rated as five stars placing it in a category with the finest hotels in the world. It has the most fantastic situation in a wide sandy bay overlooking the Mediterranean but that is where the praise stops. The only five star quality in this hotel is the 5-star prices it charges for everything you do. The rooms... more

This is one of the most expensive hotels in Alicante and yet they will charge you for everything. What's the point of advertising the sauna, the steam room, the jacuzzi and the tennis, if you have to pay for all of that?? I mean, I am willing to pay an extra price if a hotel offers me some additional services,... more

Just came back from a long weekend from the Sidi San Juan with my Dad. We loved the hotel, which offered a real 5* treat. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The shuttle service into Alicante and back was brilliant, which made the weekend much more enjoyable. We were on the 4th floor which gave great sea views and... more
