Stay there for a pre-spring weekend mid of february. Nice Hotel. All rooms have ocean view, the staff is friendly and the food ist delishes, the atmosphere is rather coldly, the waiters fast but impersonal. Have just returned from a one week stay at this hotel. The location, some 10 - 15 minutes drive from Alicante centre, was perfect as far as we were concerned. The room had a sea view (as I believe they all do)and we were lucky enough to be on the top floor. The hotel is situated right on the beach.... more

Alicante is in itself neither the most beautiful nor interesting place to go but if you have to stay here, Sidi San Juan is a good place, especially considering the price you get away with. Arrived at the Sidi San Juan for New year's Eve. Wonderful hotel with amazing views over the sea and few steps from the beach. This is a very friendly and relaxed hotel. The views over the sea are fantastic and there is plenty of space to relax in the garden or by the pool. The beach is also on your doorstep. The cafe is great for lunch and there are a few bars nearby. To get into town you need to get a taxi... more
