Where do we start!!!!!!!!!! I wont bore you too much, so i will point out the reasons i would never stay at the Melia again and leave it to you to decide if you book or not. We stayed 5 nights, 2 Adults and small child of 3 years of age. The cleaniness of the hotel was average. The hotel... more

Just returned (9-12th May 3 nights) I'll break this down to make up your own mind... myself I thought it was ok - and ideal for a short break at the the right price! Rooms - I stayed on the 3rd Floor and paid a reasonable 67GBP a night for B&B with my wife..bless her it was a mothers day... more

We stayed here for 4 nights in the Executive Level in a junior suite. I have to admit that I loved the Executive Level, you have an open bar with nibbles. You really make up the extra money here. You also have a continental breakfast here included. The room was massive and was very clean, views were excellent. The staff... more

Stayed here for a few days for work. When I walked in I was very impressed with the lobby and had high hopes but this expense and good taste does not translate to the rooms that are perfectly serviceable but no more than that. The staff were a little bit less helpful than I would like but not terrible. Once... more

The Melia Alicante has prime position on Alicante's waterfront. We stayed 4 days in a room overlooking the beach (east side),the other side overlooks the marina. We walked into the hotel expecting a room of our choice but the hotel was pretty full, however the head receptionist (Christina) was extremely helpful and went the extra mile to accomodate us. The... more

I stayed at the Melia Alicante with my mum for a three night break 23-26th March. We had a fab time, the breakfast was amazing, I have stayed in a lot of 4* and 5* hotels and it was without doubt the best breakfast I've eaten in a hotel. We had a room on the marina side of the hotel... more

I booked a superior room for my wife and I on the 5th floor ("The Level") at the Melia Alicante for 7 nights through to the 1st March. We left a day early, and would have left earlier if we could have found an earlier flight, due to problems at this hotel. I stay at similar quality hotel frequently and... more

lovely hotel for exploring Alicante city, good base for checking out Costa Blanca region. If you do stay here over Friday or Saturday night ask for a sea-view room as marina views can be noisy about 5am with clubbers coming from La Marina more

Stayed there for four days. Room quite large. Bed bigger than average. Television had about fifty channels (only two or three in English - the usual news ones). No radio. Very clean. No teamaking facilities. Mini bar had to be paid for. Breakfast was great: a lovely room overlooking the beach and a vast choice of hot and cold food.... more

I am just back from the Melia Alicante, where I have stayed for 11 nights. The great advantage of this hotel is its excellent location: on the beach, with a magnificent sea- and city-view, and still a few steps from the town hall and the old town center. As to other aspects, here are a few remarks: -The hotel is... more
