I have only praise for the hotel San Remo, from the very helpful and friendly staff to the great value. I saw this hotel whilst walking by and saw that it had big corner balconies in some rooms, and wanted one of those. The very kind lady on the front desk arranged for the cleaning lady to show me a room on a high floor (i wanted a view). when she at 1st showed me a room with just the small, no corner balcony, they were most patient with my poor spanish and didnt seem in any way put out by me asking to see another room (with corner balcony). I was able to at last understand, there english was limited, that the corner rooms were for 2 people and had 2 seperate beds, but they were kind enough to let me have it on my own at the same price as a single! The room was large and airy and had no less than 4 window you could open, so was very fresh feeling. It was very clean and bright, and there is free wifi, and a laptop in the reception you can go online on, and at 40 euros was a bargain. I... more
