I arrived here on the 17th May, the weather in the 30s. We had a top floor room with balcony that faced the old castle. Our room was comfy with air conditioning and mini bar. Ideally located for marina, shops, restaurants, Santa Barbara castle, Old Quarter and tram/train up the coast. Room adequate and bathroom good but windows not double glazed so you will notice traffic noise from the busy, narrow streets around the hotel.....the routine Spanish stress-buster for traffic jams seems to be to the enthusiastic sounding of horns!! We had a very comfortable stay in this hotel in October 2005. It is very conveniently situated and central, one minutes walk from the beach, the airport bus stop and the tram stop/connections to narrow gauge railway. We stayed there for five nights last week (w/c 8 November 2004). The room, service, breakfast and staff were all lovely but .......... The noise, particularly on Saturday night, was horrendous.
