I was disappointed with the bad reviews of this hotel. I even thought of trying to change my booking but I'm so glad I didn't. We stayed here as a party of 12 on my hen night. Having booked the hotel a few months out because of the Las Fallas festival, I was concerned to read the negative reviews on here from some people and did actually try to find alternative accommodation. Our arrival (group of 25) was chaotic. The desk staff couldn't handle the group and my clients took their own luggage up the two rickety and small elevators to their small, dank rooms. This hotel is inconveniently positioned, in an off-centre, residential-looking area. If you wish to pop in and out of your hotel, this is not the place, as you have to take a bus (13, 14) or taxi to get to the center or the old city. The Husa Serrano is a bland looking block in a residential area. Inside it far better. It's a location between the city centre and the beach. We'd use it again as it is good value.
