Palau de la Mar Hip, upmarket hotel. Internet available in some rooms (doesn't always work) but they did gave me a laptop to use. Nice range of shampoo, soaps, moisturisers. Nice big bath tub. Walkable to C/Colon and shops and metro. Courteous and helpful staff. Restaurant was very good. more

Really a nice building (although hard to find), boutique style. Parking is a pain but once you've done that, taxi's are cheap so no worries. Stayed here 3 nights. First impression, 'wow'! Palau de la Mar is a renovated hotel at the edge of the old section of Valencia. The train from the airport goes to within a few blocks of the hotel (takes around 25-30 minutes). One thing to mention is that most rooms are not in the old section of the hotel, but in a courtyard behind the main building.... more

We spent over an hour in the Valencia one way system trying to find the street the hotel is on, then passed by luck. The porter actually drove the wrong way up a one way street to the parking garage!
