This Hotel is amazing!!!!
After a stressful drive from Sicily my girlfriend and I were in need of some rest. Although the location of the hotel may seem a bit secluded from the Amalfi coast, this does offer some great benefits.
Directly outside the hotel is a fantastic bus service which delivers you in Amalfi town. This should be taken advantage of since there is very little parking in the town.
During the sweltering summer months we were grateful to be staying in the cooler hills, where you can really experience true Italian culture.
The amazing addition to this hotel is the restaurant. The regional food and wine which was cooked and served by the owners is by far the best we had in Italy. The tourist restaurants were not a touch on this Hidden Gem.
The only negative aspect about this hotel was the lack of air conditioning in the room, although as soon as we mentioned that we were to warm in the night the owner provided us with a fan.

This hotel is a bit out of the way on the Amalfi coast, but easily reached by a regular bus service from Amalfi and Naples. It is run by two brothers and the rest of their families all chip in to help. One of the brothers does the bulk of the cooking and the food he produces is fantastic. We were there on an organised walking trip via Exodus and were treated to a cooking demonstration one evening and a pizza making demonstration on another where the second brother stepped in to show that he also had good cooking skills.
Nothing was too much trouble for the hoteliers - I had a foot infection that needed medical attention and they arranged for the local Mr 'fix it' to take me to the doctors as he speaks very good English and could interpret for me.
There isn't a pool to relax alongside, but there is a pleasant enough seating area that you can use if you choose to hang around the hotel. For this reason, the hotel is best used as a base for local exploration - I would...
