Who is not ecstatic over the Il Nido probably deserves the malocchio (evil eye). The only down-side of our entire stay was that we didn't want to leave. In fact, we and several other guests asked third generation owner-proprietor Dino for a three or four day extension on their rooms. The rooms are in the European style, functional but not... more
Just arrived back home after a four day stay with Dino and the great people at Hotel Nido. It was a wonderful experience from arrival to departure. Our family of five had two rooms that featured one of the most breathtaking views you'll ever experience. The rooms were clean and just what we needed. The price was even better. We... more
We had a wonderful stay at Il Nido. We arrived in Sorrento after the shuttle was available and stupidly took a taxi ( to the tune of $50) up to the hotel. Dino and Gianni were so kind and helpful. We were having trouble with our cell phone. They first tried to fix it and then drove us back down... more
Highly recommend this hotel. We stayed in room 121, which has a small terrace overlooking the bay of Naples. It was spacious, had a nice A/C, plasma TV, comfy bed, and a lovely bathroom, but the shower stall is tiny (bf was not able to bend his legs to wash feet while in there LOL). We arrived via Circumvesuviana train... more

We found all... more
Great hospitality from a great pair of brothers, Dino and Ghianni. Wonderful property priced at a most competitive rate. The hospitality, accommodations and food was excellent. more
It was the first time staying at Il Nido Hotel for my wife and I. We spent three great nights at this hotel on our recent trip to Italy. We only have good things to say about this hotel. We read the hotel specifics on their website and Trip Advisor reviews. As a result, we knew exaclty what they had... more
My husband and I stayed at this great hotel for two nights last fall. We cannot say enough about the hotel, staff and restaurant. Our room had a fabulous view and a small balcony adjacent to some gorgeous lemon trees. The room was very clean and comfortable. The parking area was also very convenient to our room. We took advantage... more
After touring Italy and with 3 days to spare before flying out of Fumincino we booked the Il Nido Hotel after reading reviews on trip advisor. We were not disappointed ! Being located 5kms out of town was not a problem. A free shuttle was provided by the hotel to town at various times during the day, and they also... more
