very good family run hotel. cant be faulted in anyway at the price paid. paid 82 euros a night (90 euros minus 4% DISCOUNT FOR BOOKING THROUGH VENERE.COM 4% discount code minus 5% discount if you pay in cash at the hotel) very clean, nice pool, great views over sorrento. breakfast is good. the brother who works on reception is very... more
Hotel staff were sweet except for the restaurant gentleman one morning who would not let my son have a quick breakfast at 0720 for a departing excursion at 0730. Breakfast was 0730, breakfast was cold continental so no harm would have been done grabbing a quick orange juice , roll etc- after all it was laid out ready at 0720.... more
We stayed at First Class Apartments in Florence and Rome, but I had the best experience of them all at this Hotel. I liked that it was small enough that the owners/staff knew our needs, and located away from downtown hustle and bustle. We were a short (and quite adventurous, better than a thrill ride) bus trip to either Sorrento... more
We stayed in this hotel in 2005 and 2006 and guess where we are going in 2007? Yes! Back to the Hotel Villa Fiorita. The scenery is superb - (Versuvius and Capri in the distance) the hotel clean and well maintained, a decent breakfast provided and the staff extremely helpful. (Even corrected my husband's bad Italian when asked!) It can... more
I have slept in Villa Fiorita and I did not have problems of the last comment. May be this guest made a mistake, because this hotel is situaded in peaceful area high on a hill overlooking Sorrento. The food was excellent- the evening meals were some of the best we had on our trip, comfortable and clean rooms. We would... more
Beds are small, pillows and bedding insufficient but it is the stupendous amount of continual noise throughout the night - barking dogs, noisy plumbing, crowing cocks and blaring car-horns (the hotel is situated by a bend on a mountain road) which make it impossible to have a peaceful night's sleep. And if you can't sleep properly in it, what is... more
We hired a car from the airport and took an exciting drive to Sorrento, and then on to the hotel. Not hard to find but possible to miss as it's on a bend. Small room and bathroom on the road side of the hotel were disappointing after reading the reviews and looking at the pictures. So do be aware that... more
We were four friends traveling in the middle of October and rented 2 sea view rooms w/ balconies. The views were awesome. We were too busy to use the pool, but it looked clean and had plenty of lounge chairs around it. Some of the reviews state that the rooms are small, but at that price what do you expect.... more
Hotel Villa Fiorita is a great place to base your stay in the Sorrento area. The balconies all have wonderful views of Sorrento and the Bay of Naples. The resturant is only average, but the breakfasts were better. We drove here, I'm not sure it would be easily reached by bus. The front desk is very helpful and the cash... more
