We have just come back from a week at the Hotel Tourist in Sorrento wher we spent our 1st Wedding Anniversary. The hotel is really great, the staff are so so friendly especially Luigi the barman, Luca the poolside attendant and we cannot forget the waiters Luca and Pepe (keep smiling at them and you get lots of second helpings... more

Good location near the train stop. All staff were very friendly and eager to help. Dinner and Breakfast were good but the diningroom staff were even better and made sure you left happy. We had an only Vegetarian and Seafood diet and though it was not even on the menu each night the hotel especially made this for us, which... more

Everything great, hotel spotlessly clean, meals were excellent and the staff were friendly and full of fun. In the middle of Sorrento but enjoyed the hustle and bustle more

Forget everything you've heard before, this is a great hotel, a gem in the middle of Sorrento. First, the rooms - I've stayed in bigger hotel rooms but never cleaner. The staff kept the bedroom and bathroom spotlessly clean (and I have very high standards). Linen was changed regularly along with the towels. Secondly food, yes it was a bit... more

I stayed at this hotel this summer with my sister, we are 27 and 40 and are not hard to please when it comes to holiday accomodation. We have been to Italy before and are aware that things are a little dearer there than in other areas of Europe. Pros. The Hotel was very handy to the centre of Sorrento... more

We (myself, husband and teenaged daughter) have just returned from a fabulous week at this hotel and would agree with much that has been written by other reviewers. The rooms are certainly pretty basic, but we found them to be spotlessly clean, of a reasonable size and with plenty of storage space. The showers worked a treat and, whilst the... more

This place was solidly average. Nothing to write home about, but certainly not a negative. A good value hotel in a pretty decent location. Within walking distance of everything in Sorrento, the train station and not far at all from a parking lot. Had a solid pool to go unwind at after a long day at Pompei. more

The staff are really friendly and very, very helpful, my husband was ill for part of our stay and the staff couldn't do enough to help. Our room had a... more

There is no atmosphere at night but later in the season it might be different P.S..I found out from the rep that the hotel owner is also the ennificiento for the local art galery... more

We stayed at this hotel with a group of high school students for three nights in February 2007. This hotel should be avoided at all costs. The issues were numerous: 1. There was no heat (February is still the heart of winter). We shivered all night long - only one blanket was provided for a room with two beds. 2.... more
