A delightful stay. I think it is owner run, so they were very friendly and helpful. Food was fresh and varied. The room was large and linen changed regularly. We were lucky enough to get a beautiful view of Mount Vesuvius however the town of Sorrento was very polluted so we could only just see it most days. Our room was quiet due to having a sea view but there were rooms along the main road with no view, which would have been very noisy and filled with pollution... more

We stayed at Hotel Girasole for 4 nights and were very pleased. It was much better than we were expecting. Very clean, great view of Vesuvius from our balcony, nice room, really nice garden and the staff were very helpful and friendly and were more than happy to help us with anything we needed. My partner and I really liked this hotel. We didn't spend too much time in our room (which was large, comfortable, well decorated and spotlessly clean - as was the en suite bathroom) but we did go down and chill out at the really nice pool (with a bar).
