Hotel Cavour hasn't seen a vacumn or a lick of paint for years. It's musty, dirty and reflects all the charm of the Piazza Garibaldi in which it resides!! This was a horrible place. The hotel is old, dirty and smells bad. The walls were smudged with unknown substances. thickly smudged!! The carpets in the halls were filthy. Staff was friendly and helpful when we asked questions about buses, activities, etc. We had to pay 15 Euros a day for parking which was not something we were told ahead of time. Internet also cost money. Breakfast was good but I would go early because they start clearing it off the table 30 minutes before it's supposed to end.... more

The hotel is located in the corner of Piazza Cavour which makes it handy for traveling in and out of Naples by train (also the metro and Circumvesuviana stop there). Quick bus connection e.g. to Piazza Trieste e Trento (bus R2). The piazza is a very noisy place with a lot of traffic but the windows kept the noise outside.... more

This hotel was dirty and only had slow speed internet. We stayed for two days and during those two days, the television broke, the a/c broke and the shower never worked properly. I would never stay there again. more
