A caution to fellow travellers who are thinking to se this hotel - there is no laundry service in this hotel from 7th to 31st August and the bar service isclosed for the whole of August. The hotel has made no other arangement to have their guests laundy done by any other hotel or outside contractor. more

The location is unbeatable if you plan to travel out to the islands. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is a little run down and could do with some modernistation. However, for the price I thought it was good value. Note- I did find a hair in the bathroom so perhaps could have been cleaner! more

The Mercure Centro is located well. Across the street from Piaza Municipio, and a 2 minute walk to the Molo Beverello from where you get the ferries to Capri Ischia Amalfi.
