This hotel is close to the train station, a supermarket and several food places. Its clean with 2 entrances on 2 different streets. The staff are for the most part happy to help. The only downside to this hotel is that it has no sound proofing, we could hear the people next door :-( and also several tv's going around... more

It is not, perhaps, the best part of Naples, but close to the main railway station and tucked away at the end of a dead-end street. The area is full of street stalls, mostly West Africans selling knock-off designer handbags and sunglasses, but they didn't hassle the passer-by and it didn't feel threatening in any way. The room was small... more

Stepping off the train, Naples appeared to be somewhat of a disappointment, but with the help of the friendly staff at Hotel Casanova we left realizing what a great city Naples truly is. The hotel is at a great location; close to the train station, port, market, and busy shopping district. We never once felt unsafe in our surroundings, even... more

I have been staying at this family owned and run hotel for 9 years now. The ivy-covered main entrance is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac just 10 minutes walk from Naples Central station. As a result, it is a quiet oasis near the centre of the bustling metropolis with excellent transport links to all the archaeological sites... more

I stayed here for 2 nights in the beginning of July, 2008, with my husband. We had a room with a bathroom. I understand that you can choose to pay less for a room without a bathroom. The room was small, but very clean, and with high ceilings. It was very quiet, I think, because we were right in the... more

It was such a relief to come to this place after staying a couple of days at a stuffy hostel near the station overlooking the noisiest market in town! Simple, clean and spacious rooms with all modern conveniences for a very decent price, free internet, and peace and quiet at night ! Hotel Casanova is a family run hotel close... more

The worst place I've ever stayed in. I've stayed in Naples before (for my sins) and chose this hotel for it's location, near to the station. The area was worse then I remembered, however. We arrived at the hotel through the back entrance off the main street. You go through a small courtyard, surrounded by residential buildings and the hotel... more

Easy to find from the central train station. A fine place to stay in Naples, but there really isn't any reason to stay in Naples. If you are in Naples to see Pompeii and Herculeanum, do yourself a favor and stay in Sorrento. Naples is dirty, loud, and crime ridden. Garbage cludders the streets and they don't even bother to... more

We stayed at Hotel Casanova for two nights in a double room with private bathroom and it was great! The Hotel and rooms are very clean, and were cleaned daily. The bathroom was BIG by European Standards in the budget end of the market. It had recently been renovated and was really nice. The Hotel also has free Internet which... more
