This b&b was basically a giant catfish. It took over 20 minutes for us to initially find the place, because we were looking for a hotel (that's what it was advertised as on maps), and turns out it's just a shared apartment in an apartment building (up 5 flights of stairs, also) The rooms were dirty, and it wasn't immediately obvious that this would be a shared living space. The pictures online look way nicer than in person. We had a private bathroom across the hall, next to another couple's room and unlocking and locking the doors took over 5 minutes because the locks were old, finicky, and made a lot of noise. We were only given one set of keys so if you wanted to use the bathroom, you would have to lock the other person in the bedroom before going into the bathroom and locking it (we were 2 women traveling and felt uncomfortable leaving the door unlocked in a small apartment full of strangers at night). The bedroom - like I mentioned, was so dirty that if you walked around barefoot you got black dirt on your feet. The bed was uncomfortable and so small that my feet would hang off the edge of the bed. I am only 5 foot 5, so I can't imagine how taller people would even be able to fit on the bed. The bathroom - one of the lights didn't work, the shower was ice cold, and the flush didn't work. I asked the host to look into the issues after the first night and they addressed it quickly, but even with both lights working the bathroom was still dark (and dirty). The kitchen was small and inadequate, without even a tea kettle or microwave to heat water for tea. Overall - this property was not what was advertised, and not worth what we paid for it. I would say save your money and stay at a more established hotel.

Dear Ladies - We are sorry that you were not able to find our apartment after sending you the email with all informations and the map that you needed, and at least you had also Google maps (is it our fault if you don't use it?) - We checked together the room at your arrival and the room was super clean, but if you leave the big window open in the day, and in the street there are works, obviously that the dust comes in the room - No-one has had problem with the keys, it's an old building and we have preferred to keep the old doors, in old wood, and the other guests appreciated our design - The Italian standard double bed 160x200 cm (believe us, we are architects) - you made the reservation, and didn't you read that it's a bed and breakfast (not an hotel)? - in Italy the electricity is very expensive because we don't have the center nuclear, so we boile the water in the pot with Gaz. What's the difference? We hope in the future you'll pay more attention reading all information on the room that you are booking, so you won't be disappointed

This really authentic place is ideally situated in the historic centre. The roof terrace is a great spot to unwind after spending the day exploring the fascinating streets of Naples. The rooms were really well furnished and the staff were so helpful.

Those guys really know what they do (I realised later that they own few different b&b in Napoli). I seriously loved this place! Very clean, very pretty, staff very helpful and welcoming. If I go back to Napoli (and I really hope I will), I will definitely stay there again!

We had a lovely apartment (the African) with a private bedroom. Very clean and confortable. The breakfast was basic and you had to make it yourself. Very nice terrace. Old Naples is a place that you need to get accustomed to...the very narrow lanes full of motorcycles, people talking to each other through windows, the busy streets etc. The area seemed however quite safe and you feel welcome in their "community" after a few days. This B&B is located close to many good restaurants and some attractions. As mentioned in other reviews, there are many steps to get to the B&B.

We were only here for one night on our way back from the Amalfi Coast to the airport. It will suit some, but not others. It is a big apartment that has a reception area, kitchen, lounge and terrace, with at least 4 bedrooms. It's very clean, you can make your own breakfast and there is a nice terrace. It is really well located in Naples old town, and we loved walking down the narrow streets avoiding scooters and the drips from the washing above. However it is on the top floor of an apartment block and there is no lift. So it's 70 stairs from street level. In addition, the bathroom in our room was about 10ft higher than floor level with what can only be described as suicide steps up to it (a 60 degree incline) - not for the old, infirm or inebriated. For tea drinkers, there is no kettle in the kitchen so you have to use a pan. The internal door locks and doors are not as secure we have liked. This is not a negative review - just informative. We would stay here again while we can still walk up stairs!

I highly recommend this lovely appt in the heart of Naples. It is very well located, near lots of excellent food places and historical places of interest. It has a lovely terrace where you can hang out with other people staying which was fun. The owner was great in recommending things to do and sightseeing routes, and was very welcoming. Highly recommended for a great stay in this crazy city!

This b&b is located in a location which some may find daunting, down a typical narrow Naples alley which can be smelly, busy with scooter riders and very dark at night. Having entered off a small yard, access is gained by climbing 69 steep steps. The facilities are average save for breakfast options, which are poor. There is no safe. It is, however, competitively priced accommodation and convenient for most centrally located tourist destinations and for two good local, inexpensive restaurants: La Campagnola and Gino Sorbillo (go early because the queues become very long).

plus: apartment excellent situated in the center of the old town. We were very well received by a kind person. No noise experienced despite the central positioning Due to the overall nature of Naples the area (small streets, compositions houses, ...) feels a bit dodgy. minus: breakfast was self serving and self preparing. This can become difficult when three couples get up at the same time in the morning. As well breakfast was rather basic. A lot of stairs to climb/descent. Not so easy when one has a rather heavy luggage

We travelled through Italy for 2 weeks and this was our last stop for 3 nights and they were by far the best at this b + b. When booking the nights we got the best information and help from the owner Raffaele who made the trip so easy for us. He also gave us a number for the taxi from the airport which had a cheap fixed rate unlike the others there. He met us at the b + b and welcomed us with useful information. He also gave us great recommendations on places to visit and the best restaurants. The b + b is spectacular!!!! The decor is set to a very high standard with Neapolitan finishing touches. The architecture within the b +b is fantastic and clearly well thought out. One of many things we loved at this b + b was the roof terrace. It was lovely out there for breakfast and in the evening with a glass of wine. The b +b had everything we needed with great facilities. We are already planning our next trip here!!!
