We were so glad we decided to stay in Pompeii and at the Forum. This is a well run, professional hotel, in a perfect location. The personnel at the front desk were very helpful, our car was securely parked across the street at no additional charge, the internet was good, and the bathroom with the large jetted tub was heaven.... more

This 4 (may be 5) star hotel is one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed at. The breakfast is the very best I have ever had at a hotel, and the food is a very good quality with a great variety of food to chose from. ..rooms are large and clean with 5 piece baths with a... more

Recommended by Idiots Guide to Italy, we were too tired after Pompei to drive farther and looked locally. Once we found forum and the delightful receptionist on a cold and rainy day, the hotel seemed to be a great refuge. Lovely spacious clean street front room in the newer part of the hotel was quiet (double glazing) well appointed, great... more

We were a little hesitant in booking our stay in Pompeii, as a few tour books said to avoid a stay there. We went ahead and booked a room at the Hotel Forum anyway, and were exceptionally pleased! The location was great (right across the street from one of the entrances to the ancient city of Pompeii), the room was... more

Hotel forum My husband just treated me to a weekend in the hotel forum and it was great. It was so close you could see the ruins of pompi from the hotel window. The rooms where nice and spacey and the staff could not have been any nicer. Every day we asked on reception which sites to see and which... more

Fantastic hotel...truly! The accommodations, the hotel, and the breakfast - superb!! It's steps away from the Ruins, but if I had stayed for more than one night I would have been more than satisfied just staying at the hotel! The breakfast was delicious in a charming garden atmosphere. The staff was helpful and very pleasant. I would recommend this hotel... more

This is a beautiful hotel located across the street from the ruins of Pompei. It is so reasonably priced (in comparison to all the other places we stayed in Italy) that we had two rooms for our family of 4. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious, very clean and beautiful. The air conditioning worked fine, but we loved opening the... more

Located in Pompeii close to the quieter Anfiteatro Gate to the ruins this gem of a hotel is perfectly positioned. The hotel is tucked away off the main road that skirts the ruins and has an amazing coutyard at the back with giant lemons trees, trendy furniture & relaxing music. Just the type of tranquil setting that you need after... more

We chose this hotel because of its location to the ruins. It was only steps away from the entrance of the Anfiteatro and the Piazza B. Longo. How lucky we found out there were plenty more pleasure within this little gem of Pompeii! We booked our room direct through their website and received a 15% discount on the rate. The... more

Hotel Forum is ideally situated for visiting the Pompeii ruins. Very friendly staff & english speaking. Rooms are a good size and very comfortable. Good in-room wireless internet service. Excellent value for money. Breakfast is OK. Try restaurant i Machiavelli around the corner for great rustic Italian cooking. Definitely recommend this hotel. more
