One must remember that Pompei is not Rome. It is not as sophisticated as the north of the country. Very well located, the ruins of Pompei is within walking distance. The hotel has ample parking with some lovely orange trees. The Quad room that we got had windows facing the street, and it was quite noisy at night. Everyone who says this hotel is spotless, the staff is helpful and friendly, and the location is extremely close to the Trenitalia train station is absolutely correct. There were a few unforseen disappointments, however. If you have ANY mobility problems, be fore-warned that there is no elevator (lift).
