We visited Rome as a family and booked this B&B via one of the many hotel web sites. I would agree with other reviewers on the first impressions: even our taxi driver was surprised when we pulled up at an apartment block. The B&B is in fact a large apartment with 3 guest bedrooms. We were greeted by Francesco, who... More

We stayed at Ideal B & B for the last 3 nights of an 8 day trip to Italy. The place was quite surprising to us - first impressions - "Where are we - in someone's apartment?!" made way to - it's actually very pleasant! On arrival the lady looking after the place was very helpful as we had to... More

At the beginning it was hard to find, once you spot the apartment building, get in take your left towards the elevator and get to the 4th floor..second door to your left..very quiet, very clean, at walking distance from markets, subway, gelateria, restaurants, and the Vatican. Hot beakfast every morning..Augusto is a great host. Thanks for everything!

Tholese are my "ifs": - No dinning room! Breakfast is served on a small terrace on tables barelly big enough for 2. We are family of 3. There is only one chair and no dinning table in a room, so better hope for a nice weather. - Marble flour. Nice to look at, cold to walk on. Sleepers are a... More

My wife and I stayed with our 2 children aged 14 and 8 at the time. The room was very clean and more spacious than I thought. Gabrielle made our stay wonderful, she was truly a host. She was very helpful with all of our traveling needs. The breakfasts were delicious, and plentiful, much more than a typical continental breakfast.... More

We stayed here because it was close to the Vatican as we were going to the Canonisation. The place was on the 4th floor of an apartment building. It was like they converted one apartment into 4 tiny cupboards that they dared to call rooms. Honestly it was so small. The door had to open out into the corridor because... More

couldn't ask for a better location to metro/bus, the room was the largest we had stayed in while traveling in Italy but extremely noisy something about the water pipes/water heater. I had to sleep with ear plugs in. Out of the three hotels we stayed in Italy this one rated third. The breakfast was nothing great, lots of bread, yogurt... More

Great little bed and breakfast! Very clean and very convenient to the metro (within 2 minutes walking). The place is located in a safe residential place so you had no problem coming back late at night. The place was very clean and the hosts were wonderful and warm. The breakfasts in the mornings were a delight! Defiantly recommended!

Excellent stay at the Ideal B&B. Close to the Vatican and metro. Staff were amazing, very helpful and couldnt do enough for you.
