We didnt enjoy our stay at all in this souless, unwelcoming apartment. It was very poorly lit. There was no toaster. The kettle wouldnt boil. The beds were like slabs of marble. There was insufficient linen for our family. There was no WiFi. The surrounding cafes were mostly awful. The only thing going for it is plenty of beds if... More

Bathroom was disgusting....wouldn't set foot in the tub/shower, and the toilet is strategically located in the corner so that the seat will not stay up on it's own (this way everyone urinates on the seat). The sheets and pillow cases had several stains on them and there was no light bulb in the overhead light. Breakfast was a croissant prepackaged... More

B&B Celimontana was in a great location--just three blocks from the Colosseum. It was a little loud at night because of how close it was to tourist areas, but nothing you couldn't fix by closing the window. The hotel is a couple floors in an apartment building, and each floor has 3-4 rooms that share a bathroom. This was ok... More

Rome is a crazy, noisy city. I would recommend staying someplace that felt more like a refuge from the city. Although there were a lot of positives here, it was not a refuge for us. We booked through [--] Pros: Location is good -- near the Coliseum metro stop so we walked by the Coliseum a lot! In retrospect, I... More
