This was our second stay in Rome and having been so impressed with Maria-Rosa Guesthouse on our first stay (we found it via Trip Advisor in 2008) we didn't even look at any other accommodation. Our second stay was just as good as the first. Maria-Rosa is located perfectly making it in walking distance to everywhere. It takes 30 minutes... More

This was a wonderful place to stay. Sylvie, the owner/hostess, is amazing! You are actually staying in her apartment where she has two rooms available. She gives you excellent information before you arrive and links to help you get more information for planning your trip. Once you are there she is a wealth of knowledge and couldn't be more helpful... More

My sister and I stayed at Maria Rosa's Guesthouse our first night in Rome and had a wonderful experience. Sylvie was out of town unfortunately but she made arrangements for her friends to take her place. Her friends were extremely welcoming and kind to us. They seemed to truly care that we felt comfortable and knew where we were going.... More

Thank you for sharing your home and love of Rome. Your guesthouse was probably the best introduction to Italy I could have asked for. More

Thank you very much for your friendly welcome, the lots of information on and about Rome and the feeling at “Maria-Rosa” like being at “home”. I would also recommend Trastevere/Maria Rosa to my friends to stay there ... there are lots of restaurants and bars nearby and all the roman "Highlights" (Vatican/city centre/Forum Romanum) can be easily reached on foot.... We stayed at Maria Rosa for three days and it was really good. Sylvie (the owner) was helpfull and gave us tips what to see. The room was big and clean and in the middle of the heart of Trastevere. More

We had a great stay in the Rosa's room. The room was lovely and huge! Our stay was made more memorable by Jean and Françoise who were so warm and friendly! The gave us the best tips in Rome when it comes to great gelato and coffee! Thank you so much Maria-Rosa Guesthouse for the wonderful stay in Rome! More

We had a couple of days in Rome, and Maria-Rosa Guesthouse is well situated in its own nice area, but also within easy reach of the centre. Very homely place, and Sylvie is so helpful in getting everything set up for the stay. We felt very well looked after. More
