Having stayed at the Sleeping Beauty last year and thoroughly enjoyed the comfort, cleanliness and overall hospitality, we just wanted to visit again, but this year we stayed at the Comfort Apartment at the Spanish Steps, right in the heart of Rome where we received just the same courteous treatment we had received at the SB. Alfred met us at the door and showed us around the apartment (our own little retreat) in a quiet little street off the main road and not only was he patient enough to listen to all our questions, he gave us directions and even drew us a map on how to get to places. He gave us all the help he possibly could, the only thing he couldn't help us with was the weather, IT WAS SO HOT at least 35 degrees, but we had our own little apartment to escape too in the middle of the day. One can walk to most of the main sites from the Comfort and the Metro is just through Piazza Popolo, as is the taxi rank, when the feet get too tired for walking. We would love to visit... more
