Torre Colonna has the "WOW" factor. The pictures are accurate - mine was the yellow one pictured on the website. Each floor of this restored and updated old tower is a tasteful small suite. My colorful one had a walk-in closet and a very spacious, fully equipped bathroom with hydromassage tub. The sleeping area wasn't particularly large, but the walls... more

If you want somewhere small, individual and unique to stay in Rome, try the Torre Colonna. Set in a Medieval tower the 5 rooms are spacious, the bathrooms large and luxurious (ours had twin sinks and a sunken hydro massage shower) and we even had a small room for bags, the fridge and safe. Unusual for city centre accommodation this... more

I stayed 2 nights for business and I've never stayed in such a homely but elegant hotel. I was made to feel so at home by the lovely family - mother and son always ready at hand and to help with anything, no matter how small or large. And Gianni, the lovely owner provided the most delicious continental breakfast. Very... more

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. This hotel has perfectly preserved its historic charm and added modern posh style. We stayed here with our 2 children age 7 and 2 and it was perfect for our family. We loved the rooftop terrace and jacuzzi, which was a great way to relieve our muscles after long days... more

I stay there for a weekend with my girlfriend and it was fantastic. Excelent staff, Unbeatable location in the heart of Roma 1 min far away from piazza Venecia. The hotel has a marvelous terrace where you can enjoy Roma´s landscapes. A lof of commodities. The rooms are completely news, not very big but enough. To summarise, I had a... more

After walking per hours in rome, what a lovely feeling knowing you are back into a special place. Well, that's the feeling i had staying in this beautiful and sophisticated small hotel. A medieval tower in the center of the city, five rooms, one in each floor. The small and chic lobby welcomes you into a perfect combination of antique... more

A unique blend of medieval architecture and modern art, Residenza Torre Colonna offers a quiet and luxurious accomodation in the heart of Rome (albeit for the selected few - there are just five rooms), a breathtaking view from its rooftop terrace, an abundant and excellent breakfast and the nice hospitality of its owners. Great! more

My wife and our two kids (8 & 10) stayed a weekend at the Torre Colonna on the way to Puglia and again on the way back again. The Torre is medieval but has been recently renovated in a very hip design style while retaining the solid timber ceilings. It was really the highlight of our trip to Italy: breakfast... more

The Hotel/B&B is a beautiful medieval tower located in the heart of Rome overlooking the Tomb of the unknown Soldier. It is made up of a reception, 5 rooms, a communal area, and a room terrace with a Jacuzzi. We were met at reception by the owner even though it was very late (flight delays from the UK) who was... more

We had a great time in Torre Colonna. Rooms are greatly decorated and very comfortable. Privacy is assured as there's just one room on each floor. Owners were always there and very friendly. They gave us many advices to maximise our Roman experience. I'd definitely consider it again in my next visit to Rome. more
