After reading the reviews posted on this site I decided to go for a cheaper B&B as opposed to a hotel since we wouldn't be spending much time there. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless you are a student. We arrived late and had a longer bus ride than we were told to get there. When we got off the bus, the nearby square was full of youngsters drinking and being noisy. The place was too far away from the historical centre. We were greeted by a lady who did not speak a word of English although the owner phoned us up and spoke great English and was very helpful. The room was terrible and very noisy, we hardly got any sleep. Also it did not have a private bathroom like we were promised and the bathroom was not clean. I would advise anyone going to Rome to spend more on a hotel in the historical centre. We wasted money and 1 night of our holiday here - there was nothing to do in the immediate area and we were too scared to leave our hotel and walk past the gangs of people... more
