We absolutely LOVED our stay at Casa di Sara! Antonio was standing right outside when we walked up and directed us to the check in. The location cannot get any better. We walked everywhere! All of Rome's major sights are easily accessible on foot from Casa di Sara. We would set out for the day, and we were able to... More

We had booked a two bedroom apartment and standard hotel room and ended up being upgraded to two two bedroom apartments. Bit of a shame in one way as we had hoped to stay in the tower but we ended up being two doors up in a "new building" (built in 1889!). The location is awesome - nothing is more... More

We stayed at Casa di Sara in Piazza Navona for 4 nights in early April 2013. Would we stay there again? Yes, yes, and yes! We loved the neighborhood! Besides being central to everything, it was lively and fun and safe and pleasant and very picturesque. We walked everywhere from there - Vatican City, Pantheon, Colosseum and Roman Forum, Borghese... Pro's: Bar fridge in the room, amazing location, staff attended to bedding and air-con problem reasonably fast. Con's: Shower head only half working, beds very springy and hard, some noise even with windows closed but not too bad. Pretty average place.

We were at this hotel in late April 2013. We lived in the tower on the second floor. No elevator, stairs are steep. The room is huge, but the hot water is 3 minutes. Antonio is very friendly and nice girl at the Reception (sorry do not know her name) is very kindly helped pick up our things. 50 meters... More

My wife, 23 yr old daughter and I arrived Friday night and were placed in a triple room facing the street in building #35. We knew we were in trouble when we came back from dinner and there was a mob of people partying outside in the street corner near our B & B. Despite windows closed and ear plugs,... More

Arrival at Casa di Sara was strange but the rest of the stay was good. The reception was in a different building nearby (no 35) and the manager, Antonio, was not to be found for a while - he was taking a break in a nearby bar (the waiters in the nearby restaurants helped us to find him. Once signed... More

We stayed in at Casa di Sara for 3 nights over the Easter weekend. The tower is situated very close to Piazza Navona and is ideally positioned for walking to all of the main attractions in the city. It's only a 10 minute walk to the Pantheon or 25 to the Vatican for example. In fact we didn't take a... More

My wife and I stayed here for 7 nights in early September. Antonio and Simone were very helpful hosts with plenty of recommendations and insight regarding the immediate area. The location is fantastic. We walked everywhere. The only cabs we took during our stay were to and from the airport. The one to the airport was arranged by Simone and... More

We have had a romantic stay in Casa di Sara. The guesthouse has a very good location, right in the city center of Rome, alongside the Piazza Navona. It was only a 10-minute walk to the Trevi fontain and the Pantheon, 20 minutes walking to the Forum Romanum and about 30 minutes to the Vatican. The owner is very friendly... More
