Booked room, got there early, left baggage at reception and was told it would be in room after noon so go and see the sights. Got back, and surprise, there was NO ROOM, was switched to another hotel (not at all connected with Atlante Srar) in the middle of a residential area and far far away from anywhere. Seems this... more

I stayed at the Atlante Star and the only thing that I personally liked about this Hotel was the terrance view. The rooms were okay but small. I didn't personally like that everytime I had to leave the hotel I had to give the reception my room key. To me that didn't sit very well as i had all my... more

Chose this hotel following a recommendation by a family friend. Nice, quiet (although close to a street, the windows seal off any noise). Room was very small, but that's seems to be common in Rome esp in the old town. The Location is great - 10min walking distance from the St. Peter's Dome and Vatican Museum, etc. The restaurant/breakfast room... more

The HOTEL ATLANTE STAR made my first visit to ROME amazing!!!!!! The staff is EXCELLENT!!!! They also spoke English very well. They have a driver to pick you up from the airport which was a HUGE benefit. The staff gave me a walking map and even told me what tours to take. I over slept for one tour and a... more

The hotel is nicely presented and we were lucky to have a standard suite - basically two adjourning rooms, which was just right for our family. Staff were all very friendly and helpful especially the cleaning lady who spoke good English. Breakfast was dissapointing as it was adverised as "Full breakfast"....but turned out to be a cold buffett. The plumbing... more

My husband and I are just back from a few days holidays in Rome. We stayed in the Atlante Star and were happy with our stay. The rooms are basic, but clean, and the location is great for access to the Vatican etc.. We ate in the hotel restaurant one night, the meal was nice, but overpriced, however the views... more

The staff is very polite and professional! The hotel has a very good location! The breakfast was nice and tasty. There was a lot of choice. There was fresh fruit and also a variety of cornflakes, yoghurt and sandwiches. The rooms are ok and clean. When you have your breakfast, you have a great view at the Vatican. more

Middle of the road was my experience. We had 3 rooms booked. They gave this in the same floor. But one of the rooms was reeking of smoke. When we complained, the guy from the reception came and told me it doesn't smell of smoke. But luckily gave us another room. Only issue was it was a little room on... more

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Atlante Star. When you book on line you can't help but have some doubt if everything is as shown. It is and it was! From picking us up at the airport (no charge), very clean room, very nice staff, complimentary bottle of Spumanti, wonderful breakfasts...need I say more! Everyone one... more

We walked into our tiny tiny room, with strange fabric walls that were so thin! There were no drawers whatsoever to put clothes in, the TV was sat on what can only be described as an old metal filing cabinet. The 'jacuzzi bath' was just a small normal bath with knobs on it, 2 of which were broken. The AC... more
