We stayed at the Britannia for 3 nights we stayed in a superior double with a balcony. The room was great, roomy, very good ac, nice bathroom. The hotel is in a great location. Not too far from the train station and still close to all the sights. The hotel provided us with a sight seeing map. They had a... more

We stayed here having worked out that the first hotel we had booked was too far out of the centre. Enrico was our initial point of contact and was extremely helpful & courteous. The hotel is small but charming and really well located just off the Via Nazionale - perfect for less noise but still in the centre of everything.... more

This hotel was a bit different. Especially the bathroom. They had a little plastic duck. And solarium in the ceiling. Believe it or not. The breakfast was was very good. But I stayed in one of the cheapest rooms, and that was an unbeviable small room. Big bed, but almost no floorspace. Free wire-less internet, though. more

This small lovely hotel is off a main street and is centrally located, making it within walking distance to all of the main attractions. If public transportation is needed that, too, is quite convenient to the hotel. The hotel has old world charm with modern amenities. Very quiet. The breakfast that is offered has quite a variety of items. Beds... more

We just got back from our trip to Rome. We just had to tell everyone how pleased we were with the Britannia Hotel. They were very helpful throughout our entire trip. We had lovely rooms (small by US standards) with beautiful patios outside our rooms. They also have a nice breakfast buffet that consisted of fresh fruits deli meats, chesses,... more

We stayed at the Britannia after an 8 day cruise at the Mediterranean Sea , the room was clean and well maintained although not huge. The location is quiet, friendly and safe. Staff is friendly and will help you with directions, restaurant recommendations or any type of room service. Mario Teti, the receptionist, will give you really good advice especially... more

I researched many hotels online and settled on Britannia Hotel. We're glad we did. During my research, I emailed the staff about the hotel, the area, safety, proximity to major sites, etc. They were very, very helpful and I could not be happier. When you look at the hotel picture, our room was the one with the little balcony on... more

stayed last year (so a bit late in reviewing!) but can still remember it - so must be OK! Room on the small side (with fish tank!) but comfy bed and good bathroom (with little rubber duck!). Breakfast was great - the scrambled eggs and porcini mushrooms - yum! Staff very friendly and helpful. Lift is TINY!!! Quite funny trying... more

Great location, warm friendly staff (they let us check in early which was a major plus after flying all night). Room was small, typical from other feedback, but it was quiet and very clean. We walked to all the sights including the train station when we departed, location was a plus. Breakfast was outstanding. If your tipping the scales over... more
