Knowing upfront that the Italian 4 stars are simple Spanish 3 or even 2 stars, our expectatives were not high, which helped not to feel too disappointed. The beds needed new matressess. They are not too confortable as we felt the springs on our backs in several parts. The room was clean and warm except for lots of dirt in... more

We made the order on the hotel website, no problem there. Easy, quick and not expensive for a 4* hotel in Rome. The hotel itself is very clean, the rooms have all the needed facilities - safe, mini-bar, air conditioning, satellite TV, enterernce with electronic card, etc. Rooms are small but very comfortable, the only problem there was that there... more

I was part of a touring group that just returned from Rome. We stayed at the Hotel Regent and the staff was so arrogant and unaccomodating, that I vowed to write a TripAdvisor review upon our return to the States. I have stayed in beautiful hotels and many Super 8s as well, so my main concern in lodging is cleanliness... more

The biggest problem was the lack of air conditioning. We were there at the end of June when the outside temperatures were in the 90's. The room was 85 degree all night for three of the five nights we spent there and never cooled to under 80 degrees. We had the impression that the hotel does not have the cooling... more

OK hotel but an arrogant reception guy. First day we asked for directions to go to the spanish steps and was told the only way is by taxi or a 40 min walk.So we took the extra 40 min walk both ways. We asked specific on buses or trains. Next day we found out our selves that there is a... more

The room was clean but old and worn out. Could use some remodeling. The service was fine. The staff was courtious. The hotel is not close to the city center but there is a subway station about a block away. Not what I would call a 4 star hotel. I don't think I would stay there again more

We stayed here as part of a group on a package. Had two rooms. They were clean, though the furniture was old and a bit worn. In one room the shower did not drain well and in the other the overhead light did not work all the time. I think we were told the room was about85 euros a night,... more

I saw a broad spectrum of reviews on this hotel ranging from great to awful prior to visiting it and I was really scared. But I didn't have a choice since it was where my tour group was already booked. I have since figured out why the disparity in ratings. The hotel is remodeling floor by floor and we had... more

We stayed in this hotel as it was booked by our tour operator. It was ok, rooms were decent size (for Europe) and clean enough. We did not have any problems with hot water in the shower although the stream of water was not that strong and it took me a while to wash my hair. The stuff overall was... more
