Hotel is in residential area, but right next to Vatican/Sistine Chapel. You can easily get the bus (they run every 10 minutes) to the Colosseum, Pantheon, Via Della Corsini, all of the other attractions that Rome has. Fantastic! Simple check in and bags carried straight up to room for us. Room was very clean, bright and smelled fresh with all amenities as advertised and was cleaned/made up/topped up everyday for us whist we were out. Could see St. Peters from window. Great bathroom. my partner and i went for a short break and found that the hotel was very good in every respect and would recommend it to anyone brilliant for being near the vatican etc but close enough to be able to walk or taxi to all tourist parts especially if you use the red tour bus ,a bit pricey ,but hey... more

We enjoyed our stay at the Michelangelo. The staff was courteous and helpful with most speaking English. The room was clean and in good condition. The bed, pillows and covers were very comfortable. We were on the top (7th) floor which has no balconey, but being only a 10 minutes walk from St. Peter's Square who needs a hotel view?... more

Star Michelangelo Rome had the worst front desk customer service I've ever encountered. The service however in the dining room was much better. But bad service really ruined my trip. the hotel is lovely..the rooms are beautifully appointed and we didn't even realize our room had a balcony until we pulled up the blinds (by remote).
