The hotel itself is very good. A nice building, clean and comfortable rooms and a wonderful garden. But it is OK only if you do not go out. The location is terrible. The hotel is situated between the two lanes of the circular road among warehouses and industrial markets. By car you need 1 hour to reach the Centrum in... more

Location of the hotel is terrible not suitable if you plan on visting Rome. In a very awkward place, even the taxi driver could not find it! We found the hotel to be clean and tidy and breakfast offered choice. However the attitude of the reception staff was appalling. they were rude and not helpful at all. When we asked... more

We stayed there between 7th June and 10th June but had some doubts after reading some of the negative reviews. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find that it was quite a nice place to stay. Staff were courteous, food was in abundance and excellent and even the small swimming pool was a nice 'plus'. Although it is located in... more

I booked this hotel because on the BestWestern website it said that it had: - "Multilingual staff (English, Italian, French, German and Spanish)" - "Local shuttle , Courtesy car to the underground station on request" - "Room service" I speak both English and French and still had trouble asking the staff at the front desk to book a taxi for... more

We had no choice of hotel as we were using free flights and had to stay at the hotel designated to us. No complaints about the room and the hotel staff who were all very pleasant and helpful - although I must admit that we had to ring from the Airport as no-one was there to meet us as previously... more

We arrived into Aerporti Champino late at night (23:00) and collected a hire car. It then took us 1.5 hours to find the hotel. The directions on their website are terrible and of no use. Remember to take exit 21/22 (go straight on as if you're rejoining the ring road and do not follow the road round to the right)... more

Whilst a reasonable hotel for the price, our 6 night visit 13th to 19th Aug. '05 was a bit disappointing. We arrived at the start of a week when the restaurant was closed to find that there was nowhere in the area we could eat or buy food! Getting to the nearest town meant both a bus and a train... more

We stayed at this Hotel Aug 8th-13th..believe me its not anywhere near the centre of Rome.We arrived late at Campino Airport (11.20pm) when we showed the taxi drivers the address we were going (6 in all) they shook their heads and walked of,as they all wanted fares to Rome, eventually after pleading for help we got this young lady who... more

The description of this hotel put out on the Best Western site is totally misleading The location is far from quiet, the hotel is adjacent to the Rome ring road and the view from our window was of heavy duty lorries thundering past The noise of the airconditioning unit was not loud enough to drown out the traffic noise The... more

We had a rental car and had a hard time finding the hotel. Thank goodness for my cellphone. We ended up passing it twice and did not know it. A small sign at the right turn, (off the "one way race track") that is easily missed. I can see how people without cars can have a hard time finding the... more
