A smart, mid-range hotel in the middle of Rome. Good for access to/from Termini and the trains or buses. Just a five minutes walk from the station. Lots of restaurants in the surrounding streets if you do not want to travel too far. The rooms are quite big for Rome compared to other hotels I've used in the past. The... more

I found the Artdeco to be an adequate hotel, with the usual expectiations that a large chain would have. Private baths, TV, lounge/cafe, clean rooms. Breakfast was included in which makes having a meal before heading out a plus. The front desk personnel lacked personality which discourages travelers when help is needed. Our group was 5 couples and each couple... more

Some friends and myself spent a week in the Art Deco in July 09. This is the type of hotel we usually try to go for - comfy and clean, but not overly posh being as we spend most of the time out. We were impressed with the hotel, as although it was part of a large chain (BestWestern), it... more

We stayed here for 2 nights recently after staying a few nights just outside of the city. A very nice hotel, but not quite as large as the company website makes out. We arrived in the morning, and were very surprised to find our room was ready as it was before check-in time. This was a great start to our... more

The Art deco hotel is cute and clean little hotel near Termini Station. Our room was perfect for a 3 night stay in amazing Rome. We were here in August....it was Hot! The air conditioning at Art Deco was totally powerful and kept us cool when we returned from sightseeing. The bed(s) were two twins pushed together to a queen...awesome... more

If you look the hotels of Rome up here on tripadvisor you will notice 2 things: Very expensive and most of them does not have a good rating. - This one has and the price is not too costly. I found this as a cheap last minute deal and it was really worth it. The room is totally clean. The... more

We stayed at the Art Deco for four nights. It was a good choice, as it is located close to Termini station, but not close enough to have that 'near the train station' feel to it. The reception staff was generally pleasant, and the room we had was of a good size and was pretty modern, with satellite TV, an... more

At 75 Euro per night online ($118), I can't really complain. But this hotel is not more than OK. There is never more than one person behind the desk, even at peak times, so if you need something it could be a wait. Staff is responsive and helpful but multi tasking is not their strong suit. Air conditioning (record heat,... more

My large group stayed here at the ArtDeco hotel on our way to a World Baseball Tournament in Nettuno. We were all very pleased with our rooms and service. Emanuele, who booked our group was there each day to make sure everything was perfect. The woman at the desk was always wearing a smile and had answers to everything presented... more

Went to Rome for New Year celebrations 3 day trip. Bottle of wine on arrival after a walk from Termini. Police everywhere due to Embassy's and Legations felt very safe. Rooms a tad small but compensated for in many ways. Staff at Desk brilliant with suggestions of where to eat out. Great place near Colleseum tops. Dined with hotel New... more
