Just got back from three nights staying here with friends. We were given rooms 701 and 703 which were on the very top floor. 701 was overlooking the side of building with a very small balcony, but the views were pretty of rooftops. One issue for the room is the shower which is only a mixer tap over the bath... More

Great location for a sight seeing trip to Rome as close to Termini station and metro. Had no issues with the hotel, reception staff were great. Asked for kettle in the room, it arrived in 5 min, problem with aircon not heating again fixed in minutes. In addition to the typical continental breakfast there were also scrambled eggs, bacon and... More

Booked via travel agency, and found it as a quite nice hotel to stay. At first they gave me a single room near the elevator. It was dark and cramped. So I decided to ask for another room. Luckily, I got a twin bedroom which was more spacious. Did not get a view, but it was more comfortable. More

We decided to use some racked up points during our stay in Rome, and got this hotel for free for a few days. The location is pretty good- short walk (very do-able with normal size luggage) to the train station. Felt safe at night. We had arrived with a rental car having driven from Amalfi.. and had a parking spot... More

Best Western Villafranca is conveniently located near the Roma Termini station (about 5 minutes walk) and Metro Line B station. It is easy to get around and accessible to major attractions via the Metro. In addition, there are a lot of restaurants selection and supermarket in the vicinity so it is perfect for travelers in Rome. The room is modern,... More

5 minutes walk from Termini train station and walking distance from the main attractions means this hotel is well located. The rooms are adequate as is the breakfast and wi-fi is free throughout the hotel. If you want a bit of luxury then I'd look elsewhere but for the price in Rome then this does the job. More

Stayed mid November for 3 nights. Location is outside the centre but if reasonably fit not too far to walk to the main attractions. From my point of view it meant eating out was quite reasonabley priced with plenty of choice just a few yards from the hotel. Also the Train station was just far enough as this is not... More

We made the mistake of booking this through a travel agent who told us it was lovely. We were on our honeymoon and asked for somewhere pretty special - it was special in all the wrong ways!! It was tiny, had no natural light and an air conditioning unit that leaked dirty water onto our bed!! I said it to... More

This hotel is actually a 3+++ grade. It is v conveniently located 5 mins from Termini. Our room was perfectly;y adequate with a balcony that we used each day to enjoy the still warm mid November sun. As previously reported tea and coffee making facilities available on request. Reception staff very helpful contradicting other reviewers comments. Loads of restaurants within 100... More

Have just returned from a four night break in the Villafranca. We arrived very late at night following a delayed flight and found the hotel fairly easily. Our check in was quick and painless and we found our room to be slightly small but very clean. The room was cleaned every day and we also received clean towels every day.... More
