I was not completely satisfied with the hotel location because it's too close to the train station where lots of people hovering around and a bit far from all the attractions. Very good Hotel, friendly and helpful staffs especially filipino staff -Coy. Clean and nice room. Air conditioning is good and individually controlled. This has got to be the worst flea bag hotel that I have stayed in. I was on the first floor with a view of the roof litterred with cigarette butts, garabage and bird feathers. The rug on the floor defined the word "worn". The drapes stunk, and the bed was, as ACDC would say, "Hard As A Rock". more

My sister and I stayed at the Villafranca for 4 nights in March. It was clean, spacious, and a great value. Okay so it wasn't right next door to any of the attractions, and that was probably it's main drawback. We found ourselves far away from the hotel every night with a long walk back.
