We stayed at the Marriott Rome Flora for 3 nights in September. The hotel is in a wonderful location on the Via Veneto. While not super luxurious, the room was cozy, comfortable and very clean. The service was top notch. Loved sitting on the roof for breakfast....the views were absolutely breathtaking. I would definately stay here again. more

As Marriott Platinum members we stayed here on points to end a month long Italian vacation. This was by far the nicest accommodations we had in Italy, and among the nicest Marriotts we've stayed in anywhere. As platinum members we received a delicious bottle of red wine and fresh fruit upon our arrival. We then walked all over Rome and... more

We enjoyed our stay at the Grand Flora. We are Gold Elite Marriott Rewards members and Marriott timeshare owners, so we stayed for free on points. Our room was pretty spacious for European standards. We enjoyed the free breakfast each morning, which was the most extensive breakfast we had throughout our travels in Italy. We dined in both the area... more

Our stay was one night on September 27 and three nights Oct 2-4 using Marriott points. We have no complaints although we probably would not have paid the going rate if we did not have points. Our one night only stay was in a slightly better room with a very comfortable bed and luxury linens. The three night stay at... more

We stayed 1 night on 40,000 points. Marriott is not usually my preferred chain, but I had some points to burn and Rome is expensive. This hotel didn't meet my expectations, which were built up by the high room rates and nice pictures. We got a pretty shabby room, even though I am a Gold member of their program. The... more

We stayed at the Grand Flora with Marriott points, so it was great value for us. We were traveling with 2 teenagers and thus needed 2 rooms. We booked the rooms 10 months prior to our arrival and requested the 2 rooms be next to each other, if not connected. We ended up having our children's room 3 doors down... more

must remember when you go to Europe that the hotels will be much smaller than those in the US.. the hotel is very nice and the rooms are a decent size.. the bathrooms are very clean and well kept.. the beds, though, are hard and uncomfortable, as are the bed sheets.. the internet access in room and throughout the hotel... more

When we checked in they gave us a smoking room and we had to change. The desk was very accomodating in making the change. The Marriott staff was adequate. We were disappointed in the staff in the roof top terrace for breakfast. Lengthy waits for food, and not all of it arrived together. Had to wait for other items which... more
