Great hotel for my purposes: good price; excellent location; friendly staff; clean room. I travel frequently and don't expect a medium-priced European hotel to meet American expectations. Cleanliness is #1 with me, along with location. Several blocks from the busier streets so it is quiet at night. The breakfast being included in the price was a plus. There is a... more

This hotel was chosen, to be honest, based on it's location and reasonably good reviews on both this site and hotels.com. Sadly, I think it is not as nice as many seem to be saying. We did get reasonably helpful service by the desk, and the breakfast, while not fantastic, was ok, and of course it's included, and so that's... more

This is a fantastic little hotel located in exactly the right place for all the tourist destinations in Rome. We walked absolutely everywhere from here without any need for taxis or public transport. The staff were excellent and the duty manager went well beyond the call of duty. I cannot rate this place highly enough. The only downer is that... more

Just returned from our first trip to Rome. The Hotel Dei Borgogni was a great pick. The location was extremely convenient for walking to all of the sights and the staff was excellent. The hotel is a bit dated from a decor standpoint but the bathrooms were completely updated and well appointed. We traveled with our teenage son and this... more

We tried to find a centrally-located, well-priced smaller hotel, for sightseeing in Rome with our two kids (13 & 10). Location was terrific, but that was about it. Rooms were shabby and worn, mattresses and tiny beds uncomfortable, Looked like the place needed a serious makeover. Air conditioning was available, but minimal. Some investment, care and style could make this... more

Travelling alone with my 8 year old son, I wanted to be in a small hotel where we would be known and recognized. I was not disappointed. The staff were exceptionally kind to both of us, arranging for drivers to Pompeii and extra room keys without complaint. The location is superb -- a quiet, though uninteresting, street within an easy... more

We stayed here for 6 nights and it was lovely! The staff at this hotel are some of the sweetest and most polite i have ever encountered, they were only too happy to organise us taxi's and reservations and even walked us to some of the trickier to locate restaurants they recommended (which were also lovely!) they also get to... more

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. Staff were really friendly and always happy to help. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to the majority of attractions. It is nicely tucked away down a small side street so you are away from the busy tourist filled streets. We found it to be a great base for... more

We spent three nights at the Hotel Dei Borgognoni, and the best feature of the hotel is its central and convenient location. We were in easy walking distance to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and plenty of shopping. Since it is right in the Historic Center you can walk everywhere within 10-20 minutes-the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, ancient sites. There is... more

We had a nice stay at this hotel for 3 nights in April. A friend in Cali recommended the hotel - and it fit our expectations. For the price- it was great although if you are expecting US standards, you would be disappointed. But it was clean, room was spacious, bathroom was clean and stocked with necessities you would expect.... more
