The hotel is lovely (clean room, large comfy bed, lovely bathroom) and although a little out of the centre there is plenty of good and frequent public transport to get you out and about. Be prepared to use it if you want to eat good Italian food! The hotel "restuarant" is lacking in atmosphere (can't comment on the food) and... more

We have just returned from this hotel, stayed in the Borromini for 3 nights and would have liked to have stayed for more. Everyone was very nice and welcoming, especially the reception and breakfast staff. Nothing was a problem to them and their English was very good. The rooms were very clean and had everything you could ask for. Apparently,... more

We stayed in this Hotel for several nights, the room was very, very spacious, the bathroom was a huge a marble one with a large shower, double sinks, bidet and toilet, spotlessly clean every day. I can't say the personnel were especially friendly but never rude. We met some fellow travelers and spent several pleasant hours in the bar in... more

We got this hotel through Priceline and were promised that it would be 4-star. It was by far our worst hotel throughout Europe. The hotel was out of the way, the rooms were dirty, the restaurant food was terrible, and many of the staff was rude. And, don't think that the really, really bad breakfast comes with the room. It... more

We were disappointed with the way we were treated the condition of the hotel and the staff. The Shower was not clean... Mold on the walls. Upon checking in, we realized that the Refrigerator did not work . The management replaced it but they removed our items (sodas and waters) that were obviously not part of their "Mini Bar". Before... more

Definitely listen to Trip Advisor reviews on this one. Id have to count this as my most disappointing hotel experience ever. I was really looking forward to seeing Rome and staying in a nice hotel room for my husbands birthday. This hotel does have nice rooms, we saw one, room 419 for example was very nice, like the online photos... more

$160,000 USD worth of equipment stolen from my room. While filming a documentary in France and Italy we stayed at the Borromini hotel shortly after Easter holiday. We were only there for 4 nights but on the second night, while I was out to dinner, my room was entered and our high definition camera was stolen from our room. I... more

I am usually the first person to roll with whatever happens. I have booked hotel rooms where I had no bathroom after i paid for one, or I have even had to share a room with a complete stranger because the hotel was overbooked and there was nowhere else to go. So, when I say I had one of the... more

This was our first hotel on a Trafalgar tour so we didn't expect the Ritz, despite the rather glamourous web page but we had expected something larger, slick and corporate. Instead, we got a rather cosy hotel in a leafy avenue in one of Rome's expensive areas. The wallpaper was worn in places and some of the plasterwork needed a... more

Very lovely! In a residential neighborhood of Rome which makes the price more affordable but slightly more difficult to get around. I will say there isn't much within walking distance but we went on a tour so that wasn't an issue. Public transportation is close, however. A nice change from the hussle and bussle of the city center. Very clean... more
